Woman dead, husband injured in Ramechhap jeep crash
Vehicle heading from Manthali to Hetauda falls near Bokse; rescue hampered by rugged terrain.

A jeep plunged down a steep slope at Bokse in ward 6 of Manthali Municipality, Ramechhap, killing a woman and injuring her husband.
The couple was travelling from Manthali to Hetauda on Sunday morning to visit their son when the accident occurred on the Manthali–Khurkot road section.
Radha Karki Chauhan, approximately 40 years old from ward 1 of Manthali Municipality, died at the scene, said Police Inspector Kaushal Neupane of the District Police Office, Ramechhap.
Her husband, Uttam Chauhan, was injured and is receiving treatment at Ramechhap Community Hospital in Manthali.
Rescue efforts were strenuous because the vehicle got stuck on a cliff.
