Nepse index falls by 31 points as turnover dips to Rs6.06 billion
All 13 sub-indices close lower, with more companies losing than gaining.

The Nepal Stock Exchange (Nepse) index dropped by 31.17 points on Sunday to settle at 2,749.83, marking a 1.12 percent decline compared to the previous trading day.
The market saw 14.8 million shares traded through 97,174 transactions, amounting to a turnover of Rs6.06 billion. This was lower than Thursday’s turnover of Rs8.09 billion.
Out of the companies traded, share prices of 21 advanced while 228 declined, contributing to the overall fall in the benchmark index.
All 13 sub-indices ended in negative territory, reflecting broad-based weakness across the market.
