Kathmandu Fintek, in collaboration with Fintech Alliance Nepal, is set to organise the UnionPay Nepal Fintech Festival 2025, powered by Nepal Clearing House, on May 8 in Kathmandu. The event is supported by renowned global institutions, including the Global Fintech Alliance, Asia Fintech Alliance, Fintech Convergence Council (organisers of the Global Fintech Festival), International Digital Economies Association, Indian Financial Forum, and the PSP Association.

The festival will feature addresses from globally acclaimed fintech and banking leaders such as Neal Cross, former Chief Innovation Officer at DBS Bank; Deepak Sharma, former Chief Digital Officer at Kotak Mahindra Bank; Sameer Singh Jaini, CEO of The Digital Fifth; and Rajesh Desai, CEO of Lyra Network, among other notable names, the organiser said in a statement.

The fintech festival is expected to be an important milestone in advancing Nepal’s and the region’s digital financial ecosystem.
